The PAM industry is pretty old.
It's about 30 years old.
Some companies in that are older than 30 years.
But it's kind of what I would consider a legacy industry in technology because once it solved its first problem, it kind of sat there and didn't evolve too much more because it was a little bit forgotten about.
And I think that leads to a number of the reasons why it's a great time for StrongDM to be in the space.
It is in need of disruption and need of innovation.
It's a space that originally started when it people were the only individuals who had the administrator access to certain systems.
And now it's really about every user in your organization has some privilege and needs that privilege to do certain actions, but they should only have that privilege when they need to do those actions for their job.
So, you don't want 'em to have admin access to do everything all day long 'cause mistakes get made and attacks do happen in the real world.
And that's what's really interesting about the space.
It's right at the center of identity and privilege action and the evolution of technology.
Uh, and it's as critical as it's ever been.
And I think that everyone has some concept of it in their business, which makes it exciting because it's, you know, something that everyone understands to some level.
