A couple other questions for you.

Do you know what a superpower is?

Ice.

Kind of like what a superhero can do. Who’s your favorite superhero?

Superman.

Superman’s your favorite. He can fly and do all kinds of things. If you had a superpower, what would it be?

Ice.

So you’d make ice out of nowhere and freeze people?

Yeah.

That reminds me of Frozone. Do you remember him?

Yeah.

The bad guys who steal from computers are called hackers. If you had your ice powers, how would you stop hackers?

I don’t know.

Maybe you could freeze them so they can’t type on their keyboards or use their phones.

Trust means you believe in someone. Do you have any trust issues? Like someone taking your Halloween candy?

No.

No one takes your candy?

Well, sometimes.

Who takes your candy?

Sometimes I have my grandma’s candy.

Oh, so you take your grandma’s candy—but you ask first.

Have you ever seen a movie with a magic door?

No.

Imagine opening a door and instead of going into another room, you go to a magical land. If you had a secret code for that door, what would it be?

Bacon.

Your secret code would be bacon. I like that.

Have you ever built a secret clubhouse or a fort?

Yes.

Do you let grownups in, or just kids?

Grownups and kids.

Do people have to prove they’re your friend before going in?

No.

Would you let a bad guy in?

No.

What if a hacker tried to steal your snacks?

I’d stay up all night and watch.

That’s a good plan.

Have you ever seen a map?

Yes, a map shows you where to go.

Have you ever seen a treasure map?

No.

Pirates hide treasure and mark the spot with an X so they can find it again later.

Would you trust your best friend to see your treasure map?

Maybe.

What about your mom?

My mom likes zero candy.

That’s fair.
